My Name is Karl D. Calkin Sr. and I was born in New Jersey. Following my education, I went to work for my father Harry Calkin. He was a painting, sandblasting and roofing contractor with 5 children and a great wife.

That was when my real education started. He was a fair but a stern man who taught me that his company was a service business and without happy, satisified customers that believed and trusted him he would have no business at all. He taught me a base of knowledge that to this day is my business belief.

5. Always finish what you start.I have been a roofer for over 38 years. As a result of that, I know what products work well as well as the manufacturers that have the same beliefs that I do. I have been at the for front of the industry since the early 1980s.
My company is named Integrity for a reason. People that come to know me say that my integrity comes across loud and clear. I sold my company in New Jersey in the early 2000s ( Integrity Roofing Inc. ) and to this day the company is doing well and is still based on my model.
I started Integrity Roofing and Waterproofing Inc. in Florida in 2008. My idea was to save homeowners money by fixing their roofs instead of taking them to the landfill. Throughout Europe tile roofs last up to and longer than 100 years because they install them to be waterproof not just for show like they do in the states. Under your tile roof you have a roll roofing that is designed for a chicken coop roof. The tile on your roof is warrantied for 50 years, which sounds appealing, however the tile warranty does not cover roof leaks. This is where I come in.
